A premium Chinese and Asian cuisine restaurant in Shanghai recently integrated Shimmerwalls’ ELLIPSE 1530 Shimmerchains in Yellow Gold to enhance the design of its restroom hallway. The goal was to create a smooth transition between the dining area and facilities while maintaining the restaurant’s upscale aesthetic.
The gold Shimmerchains were installed along both walls of the corridor, complementing the deep red tones used in the ceiling, carpet, and mural. The ELLIPSE 1530 profile was selected for its clean lines and lightweight structure, offering a practical yet visually appealing solution for a high-traffic area.
The Yellow Gold finish added a warm, reflective quality that works well under ambient lighting, contributing to a consistent look throughout the restaurant’s interior. Durable and low-maintenance, the chains also serve as a functional wall covering while subtly reinforcing the restaurant’s premium branding.
