CURVE Chains

Product Overview

The Chain

This design lends itself beautifully to large-scale installations where visual impact and textural detail are key. The CURVE chain catches and reflects light in unique ways, producing a shimmering, layered effect that subtly obscures what lies beyond — offering a more opaque look than ELLIPSE.

Available in 16mm and 24mm sizing

Wide range of colours and finishes

Non-combustible aluminium, delivered worldwide

Two Possible Sizes

CURVE is available in 16mm and 24mm sizes, depending on your use case and desired effect.

4 Installation Bar Types

Non-combustible Aluminium

Made from 99.9% aluminium, which does not burn or spread flame. We can send our material data sheet to your fire engineer on request.

Choose Your Custom Design

CURVE Chain can be customised to suit your branding, pattern, text, and even images.
Our proprietary software converts your design into a pixelated artwork, which can then be mirrored on to the chains.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time?

Our estimated lead time is 25 days for a single-colour chain curtain and 35 days for a custom design. Larger projects depend on their scale and complexity, and our team will give you an estimated delivery date before you order, so we can meet your project deadline.

How will the chains arrive?

The chains arrive pre-installed on their installation bars. Each bar measures 915mm (3 feet) long and is packed in its own box, with the chains enclosed in protective wrapping.

What is your returns policy?

Our chain curtains are all made to order, and are therefore custom products which we are unable to accept returns for unless damaged, faulty, or not to the agreed specification.

Are the chains compliant with my local safety standards?

Our chains are made from aluminium, which does not burn or propagate flame. We do not, however, certify our products against national or local regulations — compliance depends on your building and application, and you must confirm the applicable building code and safety standards with your architect, fire officer or main contractor before ordering. We will supply the material and test documentation we hold on request.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Shimmerchains ships worldwide with the same estimated lead time wherever you are: 25 days for a single-colour chain curtain and 35 days for a custom design.
