Shimmerchains was commissioned to deliver a full-length chain wall installation for a cycling gym, with the goal of creating a high-energy, immersive environment. The installation spans both side walls of the exercise studio, using our 23mm CURVE chains in a custom “arrow” design to reinforce direction, movement, and pace.
Royal Blue and White anodised aluminium chains were hand-selected and placed to achieve the repeating arrow pattern. Behind the chains, integrated LED strips add strong linear lighting, which reflects off the chain surfaces to enhance depth and create a futuristic effect during workouts.
The CURVE shape adds texture while maintaining a clean, modular look that suits modern athletic interiors. The result is both functional and atmospheric — a visually striking space that energises users and reinforces brand identity.
This project demonstrates how Shimmerchains can be used to integrate visual themes with functional design in fitness and performance-focused environments.
