In an elegant French restaurant interior, Shimmerchains was used to sculpt a floating golden canopy above the main dining area. Made with our Round-shaped chains in a rich satin gold anodised finish, the installation drapes in soft arcs from ceiling to window, echoing the fluidity of silk or light fabric — but rendered entirely in aluminium. The chain curtain creates a sense of intimacy without enclosure, subtly lowering the visual ceiling while allowing light, sound, and movement to pass through freely. Its curves mirror the architectural lines of the spiral staircase and pendant lights, unifying the space in form and tone. The Round chain’s smooth profile catches ambient light, adding warmth and shimmer to the dining experience. Positioned above the central tables, the installation elevates the atmosphere with a touch of drama and refinement — a quiet spectacle that complements the culinary artistry below.
